Michele needs an MRI of her entire spine. She is scheduled for this important test on March 24th, but we recently learned that our insurance will not cover the cost unless she completes six weeks of physical therapy first. Unfortunately, Michele has already tried physical therapy in the past, and it was stopped by her provider because it caused her more pain and even led to further damage. The facility performing the MRI is willing to proceed, but only if we can pay the out-of-pocket cost upfront. Over the past year, we have exhausted every resource available to us for other medical expenses, and our HSA account is nearly depleted. This situation has come up on very short notice, but Michele truly needs this test so she can finally get the treatment that will hopefully allow her to walk more than five minutes at a time.

The funds raised will go directly toward paying for Michele’s MRI. Thankfully, her aftercare will be covered by insurance, so this test is the crucial step she needs to move forward with her recovery. Any support, no matter the amount, will make a difference. I have never seen someone wish so deeply to simply be able to clean our home or wash a sink of dishes.
