Help Michele and family

On June 28, 2017, Michele had a seizure.  At the time, Michele was a healthy, single mom of three beautiful children (16, 14, and 8 years of age), working full time supporting her family.  Immediately she was hospitalized and underwent numerous tests to determine what caused the seizure she had.  It was determined that she has a cavernoma (a mass of abnormal blood vessels, usually found in the brain and spinal cord) in her left temporal lobe.

At that time, her doctors decided that managing the seizures through medication was the best way to go unless the cavernoma continued to bleed.  She continued to work full time to support her family, however, unable to drive, she has had to take the bus (4 each day) to get to/from work, rely on the help of family and friends to get to/from work, as well as rely on family and friends to get her children to/from school and every day activities.

On September 7, 2017, Michele had another seizure.  Doctors changed her medication levels, as they felt they weren't quite therapeutic, as well as checked for additional bleeding.  Doctors concluded that the cavernoma may have bled more, but continued to hold off to see if her seizures could be controlled with her medication.

Unfortunately, on February 3, 2018, she had another seizure and it was determined that the cavernoma bled again which caused her to have another seizure.  At that time it was decided that the best avenue to take is to remove the cavernoma.

On May 7, 2018, Michele is scheduled to undergo a craniotomy to remove the cavernoma.  As you can imagine, for any single mother supporting her children, she has various medical bills that have come due since June.  This surgery will put Michele out of work, unpaid, for over a month.

I ask that you please keep Michele's family in your thoughts and prayers and if at all possible make a monetary donation to this family to help with normal monthly household bills, medical bills, and meals for her family during this time of need.  Any amount, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
