Help Michael with his long road to recovery

Hi, My name is Michelle and Im starting a go fund me for my brother Michael and his medical expenses. Im struggling sharing the details of that day and sharing a picture was equally as hard. Michael has spent 2 1/2 weeks in Shock Trauma and counting. His road to recovery is long but he is stronger. Michael has spent countless hours in surgeries. He has broken legs, wrist, ribs, he shattered his face from his eye socket, nose, cheeks, jaw and countless other injuries. He spent 2 weeks on a ventilator and now has a trach. He has spent most his days sedated, which was a blessing in itself. His injuries are painful and his mouth is wired shut. His body was fighting infections, blood loss, and so much more. The moments he's awake he's worried about what next, money, and recovery. I keep on promising him I'll do everything I can, so here I am. I want him to just focus on getting stronger, walking again, talking again, I want his mind to heal most of all. To take the other burdens aways, as much as possible.

When I sit back and think about it all I try to count the blessing. Michael didn't have any injuries to his spin or brain. He's alive, Michael is ALIVE. That in itself is a miracle.

He'll be spending many more weeks/days in Shock Trauma and even more time living in a Rehab Center learning to walk, talk, and eat all over again. I can't even imagine how much a helicopter ride, weeks in shock trauma, surgeries ( his face alone has added up to 28 hours in the operating room and counting) and therapy after. 

During this time our family was split between two hospitals as our little sister Melinda was struggling as well. After 2 weeks in the hospital herself she was discharged till a surgeon can be found that is confident in doing her surgery. Our family has been in crisis mode. We are lucky Melindas expenses are taken care of but we are unsure how much Michaels will be taken care of.

I'd like to write him a letter filled with love from everyone and money to put towards his bills.
