Micheal Garzee is Ryan DeFloria, also known to many as Ryan Paine, best friend of 25 years and a close part of our family here in Florida, where Michael has lived for the past several years. He is originally from the Kansas City area—Excelsior Springs—and is well known in that community through his longtime business, KC Movers. Michael is currently hospitalized in Florida after experiencing a sudden and catastrophic medical emergency that resulted in a severe neurological injury. His prognosis remains uncertain. His mother and family are traveling from Kansas City to be by his side, facing immediate and overwhelming expenses just to remain close and make crucial medical decisions for him.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward supporting Garzee and his family during this crisis. This includes hospital and neurological care expenses not covered by insurance, travel and lodging costs for his immediate family while they stay near the hospital, essential daily expenses, and any medical coordination or recovery-related needs that arise. Our hope is to relieve the financial pressure so his family can focus fully on his care and the difficult decisions ahead, without worrying about the mounting costs. This fundraiser is currently being managed by close friends on behalf of Michael and his family, and campaign management will be transitioned to his mother as soon as she is able.
