Help Michal to recover from serious injuries

Please read testimony from his wife Dorota:

'You never know when your normal quiet life could vanish.

On May 7th our family was horrified to learn that my husband Michal were in a horrendous truck accident at work. His truck collided with two other and sustained severe damage.

Ambulance and fire crews were called and Michal was cut free after 1 hour and taken to hospital. His condition was critical with life-threatening injuries.

At the moment left side of his body has numerous internal and external injuries.

Broken ribs, damaged liver, and crushed hip must be put together, so thigh returns to its place.

The first knee surgery was done a few hours after the accident, but his lower leg lacks feeling.

Currently, he is connected to various machines and on solid painkillers, without which he would not be able to cope.

My husband needs 24 hours care, and I try to be with him as long as possible during the day. I travel from Birmingham to Oxford every day and then back to the children in the evening.

I am afraid of the future. Michal was mainly the one who earned money for a living, and now everything has changed.

He will need expensive rehabilitation to return to regular fitness if possible.
