Help My Family and Friends in Jamaica Recover After Hurricane Melissa

Hi everyone,

My name is Michael Simms, and I’m reaching out for help to support my friends and family in Jamaica who have been severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. The hurricane left behind heartbreaking damage many have lost their homes, roofs, beds, clothing, and other essentials they depend on to live.

One of my closest relatives, my cousin, had her entire roof blown off during the storm, and her home is now filled with water and debris. Another close friend lost nearly everything, including the little furniture he had worked so hard to buy. Seeing the photos and hearing their voices filled with fear and sadness has been truly painful.

I wish I could help them all personally, but right now I’m not in the financial position to do so alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to you, my friends, community, and anyone with a kind heart to ask for your help. No donation is too small. Every dollar will go directly toward food, bedding, clothing, and emergency repairs for those who need it most.
