Help Michaela Munar Recover from Brain Surgery

Michaela (Ela) Munars' Medical Assistance.

This fund has been created as a way to provide immediate financial assistance for my sister-in-law, Michaela (Ela) Munar, and her husband Paul Munar.

Paul and Ela were recently on a short vacation in Pampanga, Philippines when Ela began vomiting, collapsed, and became unresponsive which required immediate medical attention. Paul sought medical attention for Ela to the closest medical facility, and was placed on life support immediately.

Since being admitted to a local hospital and under intensive medical evaluation her condition is more serious than we first imagined. The Doctors found through her angiogram that Ela had a brain aneurysm that burst. They found some blood clots in her brain area, and another brain aneurysm that could burst anytime if not treated. Because of the other aneurysm that was found, Ela had to go through a cranial surgery to close the aneurysm.

As of this writing, another CFS (Cerebrospinal Fluid Shunts) surgery has to be perform on Ela to drain the fluid from her brain to redirect the fluid to her abdomen in an attempt to relieve the pressure in her brain.

Paul and their daughter, Melissa is staying in the hospital dorm where they are provided bunk beds they share with other relatives of ICU patients. Both father and daughter are managing the best way they can while they prioritize Ela.

Please keep the Munar Family in your thoughts and prayers as they embark on this unforeseen medical journey. They need all our love, prayers and support.

Thank you in advance for your support,

Michael & Juliet Dantonio
