My name is Michael Wolff. I’m the author of four books about Donald Trump and his political rise: Fire and Fury (2018); Siege (2019); Landslide (2021); All or Nothing (2025). I also co-host with the Daily Beast’s Joanna Coles, the podcast "Inside Trump’s Head"; and post short videos on a nearly daily basis on Instagram about what I’ve learned is taking place in the White House—including many details about the involvement of Donald and Melania Trump in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. This has put me in considerable conflict with the White House—a stream of frequent invective directed towards me as well as past efforts to interfere with publication of my books. Trump seems to have been particularly alarmed about by my reporting about Epstein, who I interviewed extensively before his death.

Trump family lawyers have now announced their intention to sue me for $1 billion, just as they have similarly sued and threatened others, for statements I have made about the relationship of the President and First Lady to Epstein. This is

clearly an effort at intimidation, designed to close down discussion of the Epstein story. Others who the Trumps have sued, understandably afraid of the President's power, have acquiesced and apologized and retracted their comments.

I am not going to do this. In fact, with your help, I intend to fight the Trumps and to make every effort to force husband and wife, under oath, to testify about their relationship with Epstein, or to hold them to account for why they won’t. And, as

well, with the subpoena power of a lawsuit, to call other witnesses who can help explain the nature of Donald and Melania Trump's long involvement with Epstein.
