Hi future donators, my name is Michael Coffey-Crowder and I am a recent graduated of Alta Loma High School in California. In the fall I plan on attending Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri on a Wrestling Scholarship majoring in Psychology.

I get it, you’re probably thinking, why donate my hard earned money to this kid asking for donations to attend college? Well if I'm being honest I was thinking the same, but then I found out that the money that my mom thought that she had secured through a sponsor to help cover the remaining amount of my tuition for my freshman year fell through. I realized that if I don’t ask, my dream of going away and getting to wrestle at the college level may be in jeopardy.

I am not asking for your donations to cover the remainder of my full tuition, while that would be nice I know that it's not realistic. What I am asking for is a jump start.  I have worked so hard for this opportunity and I really want to be able to see this through.

I am still applying for scholarships and looking into other financial options, however the truth of the matter is that at this time I do not and most likely will not have the money to start my freshman year without your help. I am hoping to get at least $3,000.00 by 8/15/2021 so that I am able to move into the dorms and start my college experience.
