Help Michael with bills and a future family trip

Donation protected
On June 15th around 10 p.m, Michael Hall was leaving his local Kroger from work on 16 Mile and Crocker. Michael was accompanied by his fiance, Anthony James Hamilton Jr, on scooters in an effort to get home safely. upon crossing the sidewalk and the driveway where cars enter Mariners Point, a white sedan with two occupants stopped to let both Michael and Anthony pass. It was at this point the driver began shouting anti-LGTBQ+ slurs at both Michael and Anthony. The car continued to follow the both of them until Michael stopped and shouted to the driver to leave them alone. It was at this point the driver got out of the vehicle and ran towards both Michael and Anthony. As Michael and Anthony attempted to get away from the driver, Michael was grabbed and beat up. Instantly, Michael was knocked out and fell face-first into the cement. The driver continued to hover over Michael while threatening to kill him. It was at this point Anthony fought with the driver to keep him away while shouting for 911. As the driver fought with Anthony to keep him away from the vehicle to prevent him from catching the license plate, Michael was left lying in the cement bleeding while not moving. luckily an innocent bystander who pulled up in a truck dialed 911. As the paramedics and police started to arrive, the driver shouted to his passenger to get into the driver's seat and they both fleed the scene. Michael was taken to the hospital with no memory.  The family was later told that Michael suffered multiple fractures including a skull fracture, nose fracture, and an eye socket injury, all the while suffering a severe brain bleed. In a desperate attempt to keep Michael stable, the hospital did everything possible to increase his heart rate, and they were successful.  Michael is now slowly recovering from the ICU department to the Step Down unit in Mclaren Hospital Macomb. Michael will have a long recovery and will struggle with memory for the next few months.  Michael was set to travel to North Carolina for his family's last reunion on Thursday, June 17th; however, has to miss it because of the recovery and the unexpected bills that will come from assault. In an effort to get Michael and his family together at a later date, on a trip of his choosing, we are asking for friends, family, and the community to band together to show Michael that there is still some faith in humanity. Michael and Anthony have suffered some serious Post-Traumatic issues from the assault and are very thankful to be alive. Thank you all for anything you can provide.
