My name is Shane and I am raising money for my daughter. Yesterday, May 17 around 2 PM, my son-in-law Michael Wise had car problems and stopped to fix them. He had a flat tire. He had just picked up his son from where my daughter works and was going home. He fixed the flat tire and as he was going to get in the car, he was hit by a pickup truck and killed. The whole back end of the car is smashed in. Luckily, my grandson didn’t get hurt, just a few little scratches. My other daughter’s husband had just pulled up to help him, but he was already finished, so he started to leave and then the truck hit. His son was in the car and saw the whole incident. He is traumatized, cried all evening, and finally cried himself to sleep last night. My daughter was called and she rushed out to the site of the accident, but it was too late; they were putting the sheet over him as she pulled up. She is devastated and doesn’t know what she is going to do. Her son now has to grow up without a father too. They both loved him and he was really good to both of them. He loved them both and he loved God. He went to church and read his Bible daily. Everyone liked him and he always put a smile on everyone’s face. He didn’t know a stranger either. He’d meet someone for the first time, shake their hand, and talk to them like he’s known them forever. He will be greatly missed. I am just trying to raise what I can in order to help her with funeral expenses. I don’t know when the funeral service will be held but as soon as we figure out things I will update this here. I put a date of June 2nd just for a reference as I’m sure the viewing and funeral will be sooner. Below is a link to the article on our local television station.
