My name is Michael Wilds. I'm a 75-year-old veteran on a fixed income. I watch my 5-year-old godson every Thursday so his mother can attend college. She is pursuing two degrees at once. If I cannot travel to him, his mother would have to bring him to me, drive past her residence for another 40 miles, then back to my apartment to pick him up, and then back to her place. That would be a hardship!
For the last five years, I have owned a 2001 Toyota Camry. The accident I had was the first blemish on my driving record ever. I live in Palm Springs, and my godson lives about 35 miles away in Beaumont, CA. I just want to be able to continue watching him and take care of my personal needs.
