Help Michael Truswell & his Family

We have created this page to assist Michael & his family with his upcoming surgery & recovery.

Michael had pain in his right side for 2-3 days and was admitted to Footscray Hospital where he was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer in his right kidney. Further testing has shown it has spread to his main vein which carries blood back to the heart from the kidneys.

Michael will need to undergo surgery to remove his right kidney and will be unable to work for up to 4 months. Michael changed jobs 8 months ago and unfortunately won't have any sick leave paid to him. Michael is the major income earner and as he has 3 children and a family to support any money you can donate would greatly assist his family with day to day living & medical costs.
