Help Michael Tour in the USA

Hi,

I am a singer songwriter from Glasgow in Scotland.

I have just released my 7th album “Where Wild Thistles Bloom”

My last album “Whisky” has just been nominated for Scottish Album of the Year 2021 and a previous album "Cross Country” was nominated for UK Country Music Radio album of the year 2019.

I have had number one songs in a variety of charts and in March 2020 I was invited to play at the Mandalay Bay Hotel Las Vegas at the Nashville Hit Songwriters Unplugged event.

At the very young age of 65, I have been given a possibly life changing opportunity to play extensively in various States in the USA (Texas, Florida, California, Idaho, Minnesota, Kentucky and New York.) in front of decision making people in the Music Industry who really like me and my music and who have invited me to come as soon as I can get there, and as soon as Mr Biden lets me in!

I am hoping to go to the USA before the end of October this year if borders open up and at the very latest, the end of this year or early next year.

This may be my last big chance to God willing, finally get signed to a proper Label, Publishing Company, Agent and Management Company who will work "with" me to develop my musical career.

I would need to self fund the costs of the trip/tours, all flights, accommodation, food etc and I am hoping that you will consider helping me do this, by contributing in any way that you can no matter how small or large!

This could be in the form of a one off payment or on a monthly/weekly standing order basis.

For a six month tour, which is how long I intend to be in the USA , I need to raise a minimum of £6000. Normally, I would have been out playing concerts and events over the past 18 months, but due to Covid I have lost most of my income from my music.

I would be so grateful for any help you could offer me with funding this trip.
