Device to help Michael see again

Hi there, My name is Margaret and I'm fundraising for my brother Michael who is 31 years old. Michael has type 1 
Diabetic and attends the Mater Hospital 3 times a week for dialysis,Currently Michael is waiting for 2 transplants kidney transplant and pancreas transplant.Three years ago Michael lost his eyesight since then he has had numerous surgeries to try gain back his sight,unfortunately the outcome was not successful. Growing up Michael was a very active person he loved working,walking his dogs and being outside,his most favourite hobby was going to the motorbike racing but since then michael life has changed he can no longer do the things he loved the most. Recently this year Michael became depressed due to losing his eyesight.The Device we want to fundrase for is not in Ireland and can be only bought in America ,We feel if Michael could get the  brain port vision Device from America that he would have some vision back as it would mean the world to Michael giving him a future to look forward to.As you can see from the  first picture this was michael in happier times at one of the motorbike events that he loved going to.Any donations would be very much appreciated.
