Help Michael Through His Triple Bypass Surgery and Recovery

Donation protected
I've known my dear friend Michael for many, many years. We grew up together in Freeport, and even though we didn't hang out in the same clique, we knew each other and were friends. Freeport was like that; everyone knew everyone, and for the most part, everyone got along and could hang out together.

Over the last fifteen or twenty years or so, our friendship has blossomed, and I now consider him to be one of my best friends. We are always there for each other, talking and texting more days than not.

Michael is one of the most loving, caring, empathetic people I know. Even now, when he is basically living paycheck to paycheck, as many people are, he still manages to help others when they're in need with whatever he can afford to give at the time.

And now, unfortunately, he needs OUR help. If he was only to be out of work for a couple of weeks, he'd probably be alright, but sadly that is not the case. Michael needs a triple bypass and will be out of work for at least six to eight weeks with no income, which is in addition to the four weeks he has been out of work already leading up to the procedure. In addition to the normal monthly payments he will still be dealing with, such as rent, car insurance, food, and so on, he will now have co-pays, deductibles, hospital bills, and medications. Since he will have no money coming in, those expenses will quickly exhaust what little savings he has.

If you care at all for Michael, as I know many of you do, I am respectfully requesting that you help Michael in his time of need. If you know him at all, you know that he is one of the good ones. So please, give whatever you can; any amount will help. If you can't afford to donate, or even if you can, maybe share this fundraiser to your social media accounts, so that we can help him get through this difficult procedure as painlessly as possible.

Thank you all for your generosity, prayers, and donations.

For the record, when I approached Michael about doing this, he was very hesitant about it as he feels like he is begging for help. I explained to him how if the roles were reversed for ANY of his friends or family, he would be one of the first to reach out to try to help, so he started to understand that it's alright to ask for help.

I thank you again for whatever you can do, and I KNOW that Michael thanks you as well. God bless you all and please keep Michael in your prayers.
