I’m Michael, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself during one of the hardest seasons of my life. On June 15th of this year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After testing, I learned there were three spots on my prostate at stages 1, 2, and 3. Because of the stage 3 spot, I made the difficult decision to have my prostate removed on July 29th. This is something I never could have planned for, and the diagnosis, testing, and especially the surgery have left me with hospital bills that are very high and still piling up.

As I recover, I will be out of work for at least the next 6 weeks with no other stream of income, and I have used up just about whatever little savings I had. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward both my medical bills and my household bills, which have become very hard to keep up with during this time. Any support you can give would mean more than I can express. To all my supporters and possible supporters, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
