Dearest Friends and Family, please continue helping the family to lay Linda to rest alongside her mother. Michael Fallin, devoted partner to Linda Bocchichio, and the absolute love of her life, and the Bocchichio family have suffered a devastating loss. Linda passed away on July 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with liver disease, surrounded by Michael and her loved ones. It is a very painful moment for our family right now. We are making Mass funeral arrangements now. Help us fulfill Michael and Linda’s wishes. We are seeking support to offset funeral, burial, and related expenses to honor Linda’s final wishes and lay her to rest. Michael shared with us Linda’s wish: to be close to her mother at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA.

Linda was diagnosed with liver disease and after months battling her condition with multiple surgeries and interventions, she ended up in the CICU at Fair Oaks Hospital. She struggled but was airlifted on July 1st to Fairfax Hospital Heart and Vascular CICU for acute care. Michael never left her side. He spent hours, days and nights sitting at bedside talking to her, praying, begging her to pull through. "Come on babe, it's me and you." When it came time for Linda to be carried to the Lord, Michael was there holding her surrounded by Linda's immediate family members who offered words of love and said their goodbyes. Linda's soul was released from it's earthly chains. She fought the good fight courageously with everything she had. She gave it her all. She never regained consciousness. Linda's beautiful soul was carried by her angel to be with the Lord on the morning of July 26, 2025.

Linda was steadfast in her Catholic faith. She worked at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Clifton where she met Michael. She worked in the cafeteria and always had a smile ready for the children during lunch and was well-known to them and school staff. Linda would then go to the pre-school child care program in the afternoon to work. Linda was good-hearted, kind and had a sparkling smile and infectious laugh which all who loved her will surely miss.

Michael and Linda shared many memories together at St. Andrew. A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life at St. Andrew is planned in her honor later in August. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and pay respect.

As we come to terms with Linda’s unexpected passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging her final resting place. Expenses for cremation and burial are upwards of $22,000. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and any contribution, no matter the amount, would be deeply appreciated and would help honor Linda’s memory and lay her to rest alongside her mother.
