Hey friends, our amazing buddy/musician Michael Stockton is going through a rough spot and needs our help. I’m currently house sitting for him while he is getting things in order, and when I arrived 2 weeks ago I discovered that he had a few of his music items in the pawn shop on loan. I went to make a payment on them to make sure they would be here when he gets back, and discovered that he had missed all of the payment deadlines, and all of his gear was out on the shelf.
Well, I did what any good friend would do and I paid to get them back on loan and off the shelf. Total costed me $386.77.
If you know Mike, you know that he is one of the best human beings on this planet and would go above and beyond for any one of us. I figured it would be a nice gesture for everyone to pitch in and get his gear out of pawn, so when he gets back he can get back to doing what he does best: making music. Plus, I think that diving straight into music would help keep him focused.
The total to get all of the items out of pawn is $699 (today). That, plus what I paid, equals $1,085. First payments would go to getting his gear out, after that I’d like to get a little back of what I paid (like $300), and anything over that will be given straight to Michael. The interest rates and price go up every day, so the sooner we get the gear out the better.
Cost breakdown and pics are below. Next payment due date for all items is June 6, Michael said he’d be back June 1st at the latest. It would be great to get all of his gear out before he gets back.
As soon as we have enough funds I’ll pay to get his gear out, post pics of the gear at his house and copies of the receipts.
As the old saying goes: A friend in need is a friend indeed. Let's all chip in and get Mike back on his feet! Thanks and feel free to message me if you have any questions. - Carson
