I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted into the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine! As the first in my family to pursue this path, I am extremely eager to grow in the Meharry mission and deliver equitable, patient-centered care to historically underserved populations like my own. I have done the work, stood firm in my faith, and overcome many personal challenges to get to this point, and now I can say with confidence that I am ready to take this next step in my academic journey! Even so, my acceptance came with very short notice. With only one month to move to Nashville, I am facing significant expenses related to relocating and establishing a new home. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward moving costs and apartment essentials, allowing me to focus on my studies and make the most of this incredible opportunity.
