Help Michael Richards Through Cancer Treatment

Hey Folks - starting this help channel to aid our buddy who could use a little boost and like most of us isn't comfortable asking for anything. Michael Richards is a local audio and overall production pro who a lot of you know from his work at Del Lago, and prior to that National Audio. Waaay back he gigged for many unmentionable and questionable characters (IYKYK)! Mike and I go back a little further than that - to our early days working the bar band scene. Below is a picture of how most of us see Mike....LOL

It takes a special kind of crazy to make a living working the smaller rooms - first to arrive, load in, setting up everything - getting your gear doused with beer and "other liquids"... singers treating your mics like hammers, loading out after you get all the cups and bottles out of the way and getting home at 5am. I don't miss it, but it's where most of us started "living the dream" and it made us who we are today. Mike is always in my playback reel of those days gone by. He's been a solid figure behind the scenes here for decades and hopefully decades to come.

Michael is in a fight for his life! Like many servicemen stationed at Camp Lejeune, Mike has developed cancer. Mike is a Marine - he served our country and now has to fight for compensation and care. He has a full-time job and they cannot accommodate him financially during the months-long treatment he is undergoing. Mike will need a little boost to help make ends meet while he is out of work. Let's help a brother out if you can - I'll prime the jar and set a modest goal... sing along if you know the words. (I'm setting this up for Mike because - 1. He wouldn't... and 2. He'd never figure it out! - it's set so Mike will have access directly to any funds donated)
