Update: I've been denied by Social security and now have to appeal. I lost my job and now insurance, I don't wish this for anyone

I know its not the popular thing to do, and can be embarrassing to ask for help. I know this! And no im not without food water or roof over my head , but I am scared and for a couple months being on Short term disability and not receiving your normal wage, you probably understand my concern.

I've been sick for almost 8 months now. I have been dealing with migraines and balance issues. It came finally to a point that i was unsafe to be at work. It started with the migraines and balance but then the numbness and fatigue became too much. I Had EDM testing and I have a Degenerative Nerve Disease. Which type is unknown at the moment . I go 8/28/25 for genetic testing. My Father had CMT so that is a possibility so will test this 1st. A lot of my downtime is Physical ,Occupational and mental therapy

I have FSA and HSA plus insurance through work, but the cost has exhausted those funds and is costing more than I can rebuild the accounts. So here I am

So I had hand-eye coordination, balance testing, and nerve reaction testing. A normal male, 45 years of age, should have 60-80% function from brain to nerves and mine are about 30% now

I'm hurt, I'm disappointed, I'm frustrated and I'm scared.
