Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, but also a deep sense of hope. My dear friend Michael has just survived one of the most terrifying experiences of his life—and now he urgently needs our help.

Just a week ago, Michael was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He was diagnosed with double pneumonia, upper respiratory failure, and sepsis. It was a true fight for his life. For days, we didn’t know if he was going to make it. By the grace of something greater, and with his own strength and determination, he pulled through.

He’s finally back home—but he’s not out of the woods yet. He’s still on oxygen and very weak. His body is working hard to heal, and he’s unable to work while he recovers.

On top of that, he’s the full-time caregiver and provider for his mother, who is unable to work due to her own serious health issues. They’re now both at home, trying to get through this incredibly difficult chapter with no income and mounting bills. It’s overwhelming—and they need help now more than ever.

This fundraiser is to help cover immediate needs like:

- Rent and utilities

- Groceries and basic household items

- Medical supplies and follow-up care

- Transportation to appointments

- Any emergency expenses that come up while he heals

If you know Michael, you know he’s the kind of person who gives his all for the people he loves. He’s strong, selfless, and proud—asking for help doesn’t come easy. But right now, he needs a community to lift him up, just like he’s done for so many others.
