Help Michael recover and find alittle peace in his own place

Hello, my name is Amy and I am starting this GoFundMe for Michael Newsham. As a lot of you already know, Michael is everyone's "Go To" guy, but this time he needs to go to everyone else for just a little help. Recently, Michael was diagnosed with pneumonia and that was just the beginning of his medical nightmares.

After being told he was better and to discontinue all medications, Michael found himself back at urgent care where his oxygen levels were beyond dangerous and he had a life-threatening reaction to the medications used in a CAT Scan. Michael woke up days later in the hospital only to find out his heart and lung function had stopped and he was put into a medically necessary coma. He woke up terrified, not knowing where he was or why, and unfortunately, he had tried to remove tubes and leads not knowing what they were or why he was hooked up to them. So, the staff was forced to put him in restraints and as you can imagine, that made this nightmare even more frightening for him.

And as if that wasn't enough, the two guards assigned to him were making fun of him and laughing at his fears. I find that so horrible and cruel. I hope they are terminated from their jobs. After another week or so at the hospital, he was sent to a rehabilitation center where I personally don't think Michael was ready to accept just how sick he was or how much work it will take to get back on his feet.

Before he was sick, he was living with a friend who was in a similar financial situation where having a roommate seemed to be the only way to catch up on bills and get back out on his own. It was a huge surprise to Michael to find out that this friend of his screwed him over financially and personally, considering he called himself a friend. I won't bore you with details, just know that this person's actions made Michael experience homelessness for the second time in his life at a time when he isn't strong enough to do this alone.

So, as so many of you know, Michael has helped so many people in his lifetime from giving them money, giving them a place to stay, doing fundraisers for many, and so much more. He never asked for anything back, he never asked for recognition and he even helped those that have hurt him in the past. So, I am asking everyone to find it in their hearts to help him in his time of need. He won't make it on the street with his current health conditions. Please do what you can to help us put Michael into a little cozy place of his own that he can call home and recover in peace. Thank you in advance for all your help and generosity.
