Support Michael — A Decade of Service, Now He Needs Us

Hi everyone, this is Susana.

I wanted to share an update and thank each of you who has reached out, donated, shared, or kept our family in your prayers.

Michael has undergone triple bypass surgery. While the surgery was major, we are grateful to say it was successful. He is now beginning a long road to recovery, which doctors estimate will take several months. During this time, Michael will be unable to work as his body heals.

As many of you know, for over 10 years, Michael has dedicated his life to feeding the homeless on Skid Row through his nonprofit. He has always been the one showing up for others. This season has humbled us as we learn to receive the same kindness he has given so freely.

The support we’ve received has lifted an enormous weight off our shoulders. Funds raised are helping us cover:

• Ongoing household and living expenses

• Medical and recovery-related costs

• Stability for our family during this healing period
