Hello, my name is Michael. Recently, I was involved in a motorcycle accident while leaving a parking lot with a carwash at the exit. Cars leaving the wash were trailing liquid onto the public road, and as I turned onto the street, my motorcycle lost traction and I went down. Despite having traction control and wearing full gear, it was like hitting a patch of ice on a warm day. As a result, I suffered a broken collarbone and humerus.
I have reached out to several attorneys in hopes of holding the carwash accountable for allowing their chemicals to be trailed onto a public road, but I have not had any luck. Unfortunately, I did not have health insurance at the time because I was using my resources to care for my disabled wife, who battles Lupus every day. Now, I am in desperate need of surgery so I can get back on my feet and continue to care for both of us.
All funds raised will go directly toward the surgery I need to repair my broken clavicle. I returned to work just five days after my injury, but the pain has made it difficult to perform even simple tasks as a machine operator. As the sole provider for my family, it is crucial that I recover fully so I can continue to support my wife and myself without relying on government assistance. Your support will help me regain my health and independence, and I am deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you for taking the time to read about my situation. I never imagined I would be in this position, and your kindness means the world to us.
