Help Michael recover after bone reconstructon
Donation protected
Michael is an 8 year old boy. Until recently he was highly active, bright and loved participating in sport.
In August last year he was unexpectedly diagnosed Ewing's Sarcoma Cancer. Ewing's Sarcoma is a very serious and very rare form of bone cancer. When detected in young people and addressed quickly there is a reasonable chance of survival although the treatment is very difficult and lengthy.
On the 27 of January this year Michael underwent significant bone reconstruction surgery where the specialists removed and treated his thigh bone, took and used bone grafts from the other leg, and reconstructed his legs.
Michael is still in hospital with his father Andrey that has been by his side 24/7 from the very beginning. Andrey will continue to support and care for Michael on a full time basis at home. Further chemotherapy has commenced and his lengthy rehabilitation will continue for years to come.
You can help save this little boy's life and his quality of life.We ask if you would please consider donating towards the costs of Michael's rehabilitation. His life depends on this and you can make a difference to this young boy.
