Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support our beloved Michael Readman, who recently experienced a potentially a serious accident. Michael, a devoted father, husband, and friend, tragically came off his mountain bike, resulting in significant damage to his spine. Now, he faces a long and challenging road to recovery.

On 10th August 2024, Michael was enjoying one of his favorite activities cycling when the unimaginable happened. A sudden accident caused him to fall from his bike, leading to spinal injuries. The impact of the fall has left him with extensive damage to his spine, affecting his mobility and requiring immediate and ongoing medical attention.

Michael is currently receiving care at Leeds general infirmary , where he has undergone surgeries.

The journey ahead is daunting, involving months of rehabilitation, physical therapy, and possibly further surgeries. Despite the immense challenges, Michael remains determined to regain his strength and independence.

As you can imagine Michael's recovery are overwhelming. Medical rehabilitation, home modifications, and the loss of income during this time have placed an enormous financial burden on his family. We are asking for your support to help alleviate some of these pressures so Michael can focus on what matters most—his recovery.
