Julia Rooney is my niece, and I am raising money for emergency medical funds for her husband Michael.

Michael has liver disease. He has been on a donor waiting list for years while fighting to keep the disease under control. Recently, he has had a number of setbacks that resulted in collapse and ICU hospitalization from both liver and kidney failure, low hemoglobin, acute gastric and lung bleeding, gall bladder infection, and septic shock.

Michael is fighting hard to overcome the odds. He has been in ICU since 5/12/25. He has had setbacks but is also making slow progress. The road ahead is a long one.

Married in 2023, Michael and Julia are still “newlyweds” with hopes and dreams for a family of their own someday. Their current medical expenses are overwhelming, and the future is unsure. Any help, in any amount, along with your heartfelt prayers, is so greatly appreciated.
