Help Michael battle Leukemia

On December 31, 2017 four year old Michael Ogurek was rushed to NYU with disturbing bruises. Before the rest of the world could count down to the New Year Michael was being diagnosed with leukemia. Michael is the son of Adam and Caryn Ogurek, and brother to Ben and Sam. His father Adam is a New York City Firefighter with Engine 220 Ladder 122 in Park Slope Brooklyn, NY. Michael immediately started his treatments and the battle against this disease.
The Ogurek family and friends have all come together in support Adam and Caryn during this difficult time. Aside from the physical and emotional toll fighting cancer can be an enormous financial burden. Adam's FDNY brothers at Engine 220/Ladder 122 have started a campaign to help cover some of the unexpected medical costs associated with Michaels treatments. Adam has been a brother to our family for 15 years.
