Hello! My name is Michael Revilla, and I am beyond excited to announce that I’ve been offered a contract to march another season with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2026 season on Tuba!

I’ve developed a deep passion for Marching Band and the Marching Arts. After my first season with the Bluecoats, my life changed in way I couldn’t imagine. Marching in a World Class Drum and Bugle Corps has helped me Musically, personally, and emotionally, and has shaped me into a better version of myself.

What is Drum Corps International (DCI)?

For those who aren’t familiar, Drum Corps International (DCI) is the highest level of competitive marching music in the world. Think of it as the NFL of Marching Band. It's a unique and exhilarating experience where some of the most talented young musicians and performers from all over the world come together to create inspiring performances. DCI is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself, to learn from some of the best instructors in the world, and to compete at the highest level. But it’s not just about competition—it’s about pushing boundaries, forging lifelong friendships, and creating memories that will last forever.

This would be my second time marching in DCI, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to join the Bluecoats again for the 2026 season.

The Financial Realities of DCI

However, marching with an organization like the Bluecoats comes with significant financial costs. The full tour fee for the 2026 season is $6,800, which also includes our trip to California in the beginning of the tour season. This expense covers a wide range of things, including travel, housing, meals, rehearsals, instruction, and more. This fee ensures that the Bluecoats can provide top-notch experiences and it’s an essential part of making this world-class experience possible. While I am fully committed to continuing my DCI journey, the financial aspect can be overwhelming, especially as a College student.

I am asking for support from family, friends, supporters, or anyone who believes in music to help make this life-changing experience possible for me again. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference. Your donation will go directly toward covering the costs of my tuition, allowing me to take part in the 2026 Bluecoats season. Whether it’s $5, $10, or even $50, every dollar brings me closer to the continuation if my Bluecoats journey.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation. If you are unable to donate, that’s okay! Please take the time to share this page instead. Your support is incredibly appreciated. Thank you so much for the endless support. I cannot wait for what is to come!
