Help Michael Ludwig Transition to a New Life
Donation protected
September 13, our fellow classmate Michael J Ludwig's life changed drastically. What started as a slight discomfort in his foot later grew in pain and swelling. After doctor visits, imaging, and a biopsy, the experts identified it as a rare form of bone cancer. Two treatments were available: chemotherapy or removal of the foot. Chemotherapy did not work, so Michael had to have his leg amputated below the knee.
As Michael works ahead with this new lifestyle and complications it causes, the bills continue to come in. Many medical procedures have limited insurance coverage and deductibles must be met. The cost of the prosthetics is reaching $30k, and living expenses are needed as well, as he makes this transition.
We are setting a goal of $48,000 to cover these expenses. Any and all contributions of any size are greatly appreciated.
As many of you know, Michael is a well-known builder and remodeler. This is not a profession he can continue in. He is looking for a new career that can build on his years of experience.
After graduating from Carlson School Of Management, Michael worked for 18 years in marketing and owned a sign advertisement company. He has always held management positions and was self-employed in the trades until this incident.
There are other personality traits that make Michael an asset to any organization. Responsible, reliable, knowledgeable and honest are some of his attributes, as well as humility and gratitude.
Michael is hoping that you or someone you know could help him find his new career placement.
Thank you for your help and consideration of our cause.
