While at work on Wednesday, August 13th 2025, my nephew Michael suffered a devastating accident as an Electrician that left him with 3rd degree burns over 82% of his body. He has survived over 200 hours—each hour a testament to his strength, his will to live, and the power of your prayers.

Michael is currently in critical condition. He’s undergone two major surgeries so far, with more than 20 to come in the following weeks & months. He is currently on a respirator in critical condition but stable. His lungs and face were spared, and his vitals are holding steady. These small miracles mean everything right now for his long-term quality of life.

Michael is a devoted husband and father to two beautiful children, Lila & Felix. While he fights for his life, his wife Summer is caring for the children, and their world has been turned upside down. The emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense.
