- Hello Friends & Family, my name is Kennedy & I am Michael’s sister. I’m putting this together in order to help my brother & Kaitlyn with expenses as Kaitlyn had to be admitted into the hospital urgently at 33.5 weeks pregnant & this was completely unexpected. They were unprepared with many things, thinking they had more time to get ready for their baby to enter this world. They both had to take time off work and were unable to save enough money as planned before this all happened. Kaitlyn & Michael had their sweet beautiful baby girl at 34 weeks via emergency C-section due to complications. Kaitlyn & Baby Nelli are doing absolutely amazing. Nelli is in the NICU due to being premature, but she is thriving beautifully, and we can’t wait to bring them all home from Seattle! Michael has to return to work in Skagit Valley this week as Kaitlyn will be staying in Seattle by Nelli as she continues her NICU stay & michael will be commuting after work to be with them for as long as needed. If you are able and willing, we would be so, so appreciative of any & all help as they are two of the best people who truly hate to ask for help. But at this time, I hope our incredible friends & family can come together to ease their stress a little and help them relax to heal & focus on Nelli & making sure she & momma get home to rest & start this wonderful journey as a family of three!
