Help Michael Jackson Reach Isolated Islands

Hi! Aloha! Bula Vinaka! For those who may not know me, my name is Michael Jackson. I’m 22 years old and hail from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. Last year, the Lord instructed me to step into missions and complete a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Ship Kona. YWAM Ships Kona is focused on serving the islands of the South Pacific. My DTS outreach was led to Kiribati and Fiji. During these 6 months, the Lord gave me revelation and instruction on what to do next! I am now enrolled in the School of Navigation and Seamanship. The heart of this school is to reach islands that would not be accessible by plane. This requires us to learn how to operate sailing vessels to sail to these isolated islands. Our goal once there is to serve and love as Christ did in His perfect example for us!

The funds I’m raising are to pay for any airfare needed, lodging and accommodations, and any unexpected fees or expenses along the way.

My personal heart piece for doing this school is I aspire to one day start a School of Navigation in the Bahamas, geared towards equipping young Bahamians to be competent sailors but most importantly, the tools to share the Gospel. The goal is to be a missionary that sails, never a sailor that is also a missionary! Your financial partnership in this journey is greatly appreciated but your prayers are so important as well.
