***UPDATE- Michael had his second surgery and doctors were happy with how it went but will most likely have 2-3 more because the damage was so severe, including a skin graft. Will know more on the 17th at next appt. He and his wife would like to express their most sincere thanks to all that have donated so far as this has allowed them to focus on healing with a little less worry about the financial stuff. On November 16th, my brother Michael fell off of a ladder and fractured his foot very seriously (I'll spare you the gory photos!). The type of fracture it is is called a Hawkins type 3. He had an initial apparatus put in because the swelling was so severe and today he is having his first of probably multiple surgeries. We are starting this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial stress of bill paying and medical bills as he is out of work for the forseeable future. He is the breadwinner of his family and his future work is in the air as well since he is self employed as a home handyman. We are unsure how this injury will impact his ability to work in this area. It's a tough time of year to be asking for help but everyone has been asking how they can help so we thought this may be the easiest way to relive some of that financial stress so that he can heal for a few months without worrying so much about the other things.
