My name is Michael, and I am reaching out for help during the most challenging time of my life. I recently gained custody of my seven grandchildren after their parents became unable to care for them due to drug addiction. My wife and I are now their only support system, and we are doing everything we can to provide them with a safe and loving home.

Unfortunately, I lost my job after suffering a traumatic brain injury from a fall at work. At 63 years old, I am now disabled and unable to work, which has made it impossible to keep up with our bills. As a result, we lost our home and are currently living in a hotel, paying weekly just to keep a roof over our heads. My grandchildren have very little to wear, and every day is a struggle to meet their basic needs.
