Hi, my name is Michael and I'm 60 years old. I know that people all over are struggling very seriously right now for their lives and to be able to just meet their day-to-day needs, but I thought I would just give this a try and ask for some help. I have a chronic illness that is very painful and hard to do anything with and I've been disabled since March of 2024 when I had to quit my white collar job, I have not had any assistance or any government funding or disability of any kind at this point, so I've had no income since March of 2024. I have been relying on the kindness of friends and I'm very blessed to have them. The reason why I set this up is just to give it a try, I don't expect miracles but I thought it was worth a try. I have contracted oral cancer and have a tumor growing in my mouth right now and it's getting bigger every day. I have a surgery scheduled with the surgeon for August 22nd which is a week from Friday and I need to raise $675 for the copay otherwise I cannot have the surgery and getting a new surgery date takes almost 2 months and this tumor is growing more and more everyday. As it is now I can barely talk and because it gets caught on my teeth all the time and also it's very difficult and almost impossible sometimes to chew. I just need to get the surgery done and get this tumor removed from my mouth.
