Our beloved father, Michael, is facing a challenging health journey. He is currently undergoing several treatments to stabilize his condition and determine the best course of action. 

On February 15th, Michael's heart rate climbed to an alarming 240, necessitating immediate intervention as his heart was restarted in the ambulance on the way to Redlands Community Hospital. As a result, he is experiencing a number of health problems: Congestive Heart Failure, Wide Complex Tachycardia, Atrial Flutter, Thyroid Complications, Blood Pressure concerns, Sleep Apnea, and unfortunately the list of ailments doesn’t stop there. The situation is critical and time sensitive as it is concerning his heart and Michael is taking his road to recovery very seriously. 

This, however, has resulted in him having to wear a heart-monitoring vest for 3 months. During this time, he will be undergoing a series of tests, doctor appointments, physical therapy—amongst other treatments—to ensure the longevity of his recovery. We have resorted to GoFundMe to help Michael and his family cover any predicted and unpredicted expenses that may arise during his time of need. 

We are reaching out for your compassionate support to help Michael on his path to recovery. He will be taking an extended period of time off and we want to make sure he is able to do so without stressing his heart out. Your contribution, however big or small, will make a world of difference. It will help us cover: 

* Essential medical bills and ongoing treatment costs 

* His monthly bills/expenses so he is able to take time off, rest and recover 

* Lifestyle changes and potential out-of-pocket expenses 

* Potential pacemaker or defibrillator surgery  

Beyond the financial stressors, Michael's long road to recovery extends beyond just physical well-being. During this challenging time, your support will also: 

* Allow him to purchase important medical devices (breathing aids, blood pressure monitors, etc.) as insurance doesn’t cover some of the equipment he will need. 

* Assist with any uncovered medications or treatments/therapies 

* Help provide necessary in-home nursing and physical therapy 

* Facilitate crucial dietary changes and pantry adjustments focusing on his health/meal prepping to stabilize his heart levels. 

 Most importantly, your support will: 

* Ease his financial stress, allowing him to focus solely on resting. 

* Provide emotional and mental health support throughout this journey 

* Offer a sense of community and hope as he navigates this difficult time.
