Many of you have followed the journey of our dear friend Vlady, who made the courageous move from the Dominican Republic to Canada over the past several months in pursuit of a better future. Behind the scenes, we have also been working tirelessly to bring his son, Michael Diaz, to Canada so he can continue chasing his dream of playing college or professional baseball while also earning an education through a baseball scholarship in Canada or the United States.

Michael is a dedicated young athlete with immense talent, work ethic, and determination. Baseball is more than a game to him. It is his pathway to opportunity, growth, and a brighter future. We are incredibly excited to share that Michael has officially been approved for his visa and is expected to arrive in Canada in March, just ahead of the upcoming baseball season.

While this is a huge milestone, there are significant costs involved in making this transition possible. We are reaching out to our community for support to help cover the essential expenses that will allow Michael to live, train, and compete here.

Funds raised will go toward the following expenses:

Clothing and basic necessities

Education upgrading

Baseball training and development

Equipment and registration fees

Medical insurance

Airfare and travel costs

Legal and visa related fees

Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly support Michael’s ability to train, compete, and pursue both his athletic and academic goals. Your generosity will help give him the stability and resources he needs to focus on his development and take full advantage of this life changing opportunity.

We truly hope you can find it in your heart to support Michael as he works toward his dreams. Thank you for believing in him, supporting this journey, and being part of something that can make a lasting difference in a young man’s life.
