On June 13, 2021 Michael Cann Jr was in a life altering motorcycle accident. Michael had multiple injuries. The most severe being a traumatic brain injury. Michael was in a coma in the N ICU for nearly 6 weeks, undergoing many surgeries and procedures. Michael continues to require medical treatments, surgeries, and procedures.

As of right now Michael has not been able to obtain any state assistance. We are unable to anticipate when Michael will be well enough to return to work, let alone work in his trade. As of November 1, 2021 Michael is no longer eligible for his union provided health insurance. On November 7th, Michael was violently ill and required emergency transportation to the hospital, where he underwent another surgery.

As a family we are able to support Michael's basic needs, however he could use some help with the out of pocket cost of his medical expenses.
