Help Mike Bowes Heal & Support His Family

A hardworking SINGLE Dad of two — Saige (17, graduating this year) and Aaron (14) — Mike needs our help while he recovers from serious injuries after falling off a two-story roof.

Mike’s Story

On October 10, 2025, while repairing a slate roof, Michael Bowes fell two stories. He shattered his right heel (calcaneus) and broke his left tibia, fibula, and ankle. Mike spent two weeks in the hospital and has already undergone three surgeries to repair both feet/legs.

Mike has always done whatever it takes to provide for his kids, working two jobs — at American Family Fitness (AFF) and as a roofer. Saige (17) previously worked in AFF KidsZone and now works at Starbucks inside Target across the street. She is an excellent student at Patrick Henry High and this is her senior year. While Aaron (14) played football for the past 4 years. He gets good grades as a freshman at Patrick Henry High and is now focused on trying to take his Dad’s spot as a dedicated gym rat at AFF.

Through it all, Jennifer (Mike’s girlfriend) has been the steady center of this storm. She’s kept the household running, cared for Mike during recovery, juggled schedules for follow-up visits and therapy, and made sure Saige and Aaron had what they needed day-to-day. Her compassion and reliability have helped the family hold together while Mike focuses on healing.

Because of his injuries, Mike faces a long recovery and limited ability to work. The goal of this campaign is to stabilize the family so Mike can recover fully and Saige and Aaron can concentrate on school and sports.

How Your Gift Will Help

ALL Funds will go directly to essential expenses while Mike heals and begins rehab, including:

• Housing & Utilities (power, water, internet and housing upkeep);

• Medical Costs (deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, wound-care supplies);

• Rehabilitation (physical therapy, follow-ups, mobility aids like a boot, crutches, knee scooter);
