Help Michael bounce back from being robbed
Donation protected
Sunday night: Michael Ferstenfeld was loading out his equipment from a gig playing at The North Door with Mortified Austin's house band, The Worry Folk. He made a trip to his car with some instruments and his backpack. After making another trip for a few last items and making plans to get P.Terry's on the way home, someone smashed his car window and robbed him. Luckily no one was hurt, and they didn't take the instruments, but they got Michael's backpack. Inside was his Macbook Pro, a hard drive with a ton of work (artistic and professional) backed up to it, a Canon camera, some lenses, and his journals (irreplaceable and probably thrown in the trash).
It's going to take Michael a long time to recover the WORK that was lost, but I thought we can help him replace the equipment and his car window. Michael works himself to the bone to support the Austin Theatre Community including producing a podcast honoring closed theaters and lost spaces. Here's our chance to show our support in return. We love you, Michael.
