My name is Ken, and I’m trying to help raise funds for my brother and sister, Michael and Victoria. Last year, Michael was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. Then, in June, Victoria was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.

Michael has been going to dialysis three days per week for the past year and a half. He’s a hard-working man, but you can see that this can take away from his ability to work. He’s currently waiting to get on the kidney donor list, but it doesn’t keep him from working whenever he can.

After Victoria was diagnosed, she had her first surgery to remove cancer, only to discover additional cancer. There’s a possibility that future hospital visits and surgery may reveal more cancer. At this time, the impending medical procedures will prevent her from being able to work for the following year.

Michael and Victoria have two boys, Mika and Victor. Mika recently graduated from college, and Victor will graduate from high school next year. Michael and Victoria put their children above everything. They’ve made many sacrifices throughout the past 24 years to give their children the best life they could provide. I honestly don’t know how they did it, but they've raised two of the most respectable children I’ve ever met – well-behaved children that love and respect their elders. They both do exceptionally well in school.

Michael and Victoria have medical coverage from their employer that should cover most of the medical expenses, but are still responsible for out of pocket charges. However, their ailments affect their ability to work the hours necessary to protect their living expenses and bills. So, I'm starting this GoFundMe to help their family get through these difficult times. Every little bit helps.
