Help Michael and Twyla Avoid Homelessness

Hello, This is Michael.

I need your help. I am being evicted from my apartment and I have no place to go right now that will allow me and Twyla to stay together. I am also behind in my utilities and am having to pay for an expensive weekly lease through Uber to have a vehicle as my car was totalled.

I would not be out here asking if the situation wasn't dire and time sensitive. I have started this page because I have fallen on hard times I am being evicted unless I am able to raise $3200 to cover my past due rent by Friday.

If I am able to reach my whole goal of $5,500 , this will allow me to pay for my back rent, utilities and expenses (i.e.Phone, internet, etc...). This will also allow me to pay my February rent and utilities and give me a month to find a more affordable home for me and Twyla.

I have been unable to find work in my chosen career, so I have been driving for Uber. Due to an attack at gunpoint last summer which left me with horrible PTSD and rendering me unable to work some days and then a car accident that left me with several broken ribs from that required almost a month of bed rest, I find myself unable to dig myself out of this hole.

I am leasing a car through Uber and driving full-time, but am not able to make enough to get out of this situation.

I am in contact with several agencies that might be of help, but none that can help with the immediacy that this situation requires.
