My name is Marlene and on behalf of my brother Michael and I, we humbly ask for any assistance you can give to help our mom, Margaret Castro Santos receive a heart bypass surgery.

One year ago, we lost our dad and our mom suffered a heart attack on the same day we buried him. One year later, she suffered another heart attack, and the damage done to her heart has caused an ejection fraction of 35%, which is a significantly reduced heart function. She will be leaving to have this surgery done at Good Samaritan Hospital in LA, California with one caretaker. The funds we are raising will go to lodging, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses for at least one months duration.

Our mom has sacrificed so much in her life to take care of us, and we would like to hold on to her for as long as we can. Any donation, prayers, or monetary support is so much appreciated and will go a long way in helping her get the procedure and during her recovery period.

Our family is so very thankful for all the prayers, love, support and donations we have received so far. It’s been a humbling experience realizing how many people love and support our Mom and our family! Words cannot express our gratitude, but thank you all!
