My name is Brian.

My son, Michael, and I are on fixed incomes. Michael had a dissection of his aorta back in 2021. Earlier this month, his cardiologist had a CAT scan done of his aorta. It was discovered that the dissection, which had healed, is enlarging and getting worse. We have an appointment on 8/28/2025 in Madison, WI to discuss plans on how to resolve this latest issue. At some point, he's going to have to have a procedure to correct it, and when that happens, I'm going to need some way to stay close by so he's got ready access to me.

On September 3rd, Mike and I are starting a new chapter by moving to new apartments next to each other. Somehow, we have to come up with the funds to pay off the electric bill that is in his name, the move, and the rest of the items necessary for 2 apartments. Some of the items we're going to split, such as dishes, as we'll be neighbors, saving some money.

The money will be used to pay for our cost of moving to our new apartments, set up of the new apartments, and whatever costs that will be incurred with taking care of and remaining close to Michael as he goes through whatever procedure is necessary, rehabilitation after the procedure, and the support of him as he navigates his recovery and whatever takes place after that.
