We are heartbroken to share the passing of a beloved Brentwood High School Class of 2010 graduate, Michael Anthony Almedina, who dedicated his life to service, family, and community. After proudly serving 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, including two courageous tours in Afghanistan, he returned home as a true hero, continuing to live with honor, humility, and compassion.
After the military, he built a life in California, living with the same strength, integrity, and purpose that defined his service. He was a devoted father, a loving son, brother, a loyal friend, a cherished cousin, nephew and a proud godfather. His presence lit up every room, and his kindness touched countless lives. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, he gave selflessly to those around him.
A man of deep faith, he was an active member of his church and a pillar of his community. His commitment to service didn’t end with his military career; it lived on through his involvement in local outreach, mentorship, and support of Brentwood students and their road to personal success.
This GoFundMe has been created to honor his legacy and support his family during this incredibly difficult time. Your contributions will help cover memorial expenses for his loved ones as they navigate this profound loss.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of Michael, whose impact will never be forgotten.
