Help Michael after apt destruction in Verdun fire

Hi friends,

There was a fire in the building next to ours last night and it has had a huge impact on our apartments, as much of the fire was fought from here. Our friend Michael’s apartment on the top floor was the most affected and he has lost his home due to the aftermath of the fire. His roof was ripped open and his once beautiful apartment was filled with debris and water leaving most of his belongings and furniture destroyed. He will need to relocate for months while his apartment undergoes renovations and once he is able to move back in, he will need to go through the gruelling process of replacing all of his destroyed furniture and belongings.

We have set up this gofundme in hopes that we can come together as a community and help out a kind, generous and overall wonderful human being who has been put in a very difficult situation in the blink of an eye.

Please consider donating money for moving, temporary apartment rental, and replacement of his belongings.

Bonjour chère communauté,

Un incendie s'est déclaré la nuit dernière dans l'immeuble voisin du nôtre et a eu un impact considérable sur nos appartements, car une grande partie du feu a été combattue à partir d'ici. L'appartement de notre voisin et ami Michael a été le plus touché... son toit a été éventré et son appartement a été rempli de débris et d'eau, laissant la plupart de ses biens et de ses meubles détruits. Il a été évacué et devra déménager pendant plusieurs mois le temps que son appartement soit rénové. Une fois qu'il sera en mesure d'y revenir, il devra passer par le processus drainant de remplacer tous ses meubles et biens détruits.

Nous mettons en place ce gofundme dans l'espoir de nous rassembler en tant que communauté pour aider Michael; un humain gentil, généreux et globalement merveilleux qui se retrouve dans une situation très difficile en un claquement de doigts.

Merci d'envisager de donner de l'argent pour un déménagement, la location d'un appartement temporaire et le remplacement de ses biens.
