Help Michael Adapt to Life as an Amputee
Donation protected
Last week, my brother Michael was knocking on the door of death. He went to the hospital for multiple reasons, and he found out he had a deadly infection in his leg. Being diabetic even made it worse. Doctors said they had to amputate his leg right away in order for him to survive. If they did not take his leg, he would have died within 24 hours. My brother is now an amputee and is trying to adapt to his new normal.
My brother lives in Arizona, and he is the sole provider for his family. He will be out of work for months as he rehabs, waits for his prosthetic leg, and learns to walk with it before he can even think about going back to work. With this, life, bills, rent, etc., do not stop. We did not want to do this, but we are left with no other choice. We are asking for any help possible for him to help keep the lights on and a roof over his and the family's heads. No amount is too small; anything will be appreciated.
